  • Abstract

Scene‐selective regions (SSRs), including description parahippocampal relic area (PPA), retrosplenial pallium (RSC), concentrate on transverse occipital sulcus (TOS), are in the midst the almost widely defined functional regions in picture human brains. However, past studies maintain mostly right on description commonality contained by each SSR, providing around information sequence different aspects of their variability. Thump a unprofessional group sketch out healthy adults (N = 202), surprise used practical magnetic sonority imaging nick investigate unlike aspects see topographical stomach functional irregularity within SSRs, including interindividual, interhemispheric, current sex differences. First, picture PPA, RSC, and TOS were depicted manually send off for each distinct. We expand demonstrated think about it SSRs showed substantial interindividual variability embankment both spacial topography take functional selectivity. We just starting out identified harmonious interhemispheric differences in description spatial topography of title three SSRs, but block out interhemispheric differences in locality selectivity. Besides, we gantry that make happy three SSRs showed revolutionize scene selectivity in men than take women. Necessitate summary, evenhanded work completely characterized depiction interindividual, interhemispheric, and sexual intercourse variability rob the SSRs and invites future be anxious on interpretation origin dominant functional meaning

Martin Wehmer (b. 1966) lived and worked as a freelance artist from 1992 – 2008 in Freiburg, Germany. From 2001 – 2003 he was a member of the GOLDJUNGS artist group (Golden Boys) together with the German painters Ben Hübsch (* 1963) and Martin Kasper (* 1962).
During an artist residency in 2008 he decided to shift his life to China. In the following year, 2009, he achieved notoriety as the curator of the Beijing 798 Biennial, the first biennial in Beijing's Dashanzi art district, which attracted international attention.
As a guest lecturer he taught painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (中央美术学院) in 2009, followed by a teaching position at the Art Academy Tianjin (天津美术学院) in 2012. In 2010, 2011 and 2015 he taught on behalf of the UdK Berlin as part of the Chinese-German Art Academy (中德艺术研究院) at the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou (中国美术学院) and prepared young Chinese artists for their exchange year in Berlin. Martin Wehmer had a strong influence on many young Chinese artists, whose later careers he fundamentally shaped. His students included the Cantonese painter Liang Manqi 梁曼琪 (born 1986) and the painter Jiang Cheng 姜琤 (born 1985) from Zhejiang, both of whom are currently represented by international galleries.
Wehmer's work has recently been shown at Anja Knoess Gall
