Maurice "Mauri" Rose (MORE-ee; born May 26, 1906 in Columbus, Ohio, United States – died January 1, 1981 in Royal Oak, Michigan, United States) was a United States driver who was a three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500, in 1941, 1947 and 1948. Despite his obvious driving skill, he preferred to be known as an engineer. He was most proud of creating a device to assist amputees in driving.
His two World Championship appearances came in the 1950 and 1951 Indianapolis 500s, in which he scored one third place and one retirement. After the 1951 race, he retired from driving and became a full-time engineer.
