Second Grade Famous American Biography Project

Second grade students will be creating a poster representing a famous American in history. Your student will be asked to make the project “come alive” by decorating a poster board to look like their famous American and presenting their project through a hole in the poster so they look like the person.

Information on the poster must include who (large title on top), when, place of birth, and major contribution. Why is this person important and a famous American? You can also include family information, hobbies, education, death and cause if known. Points are given for following directions and creativity.

Please have your child practice what they will be presenting to the class. They will not be able to read from the board. They must introduce their Famous American and explain why they are important.

Poster and presentation are due: Friday, April 26th, 2019.

    Thank you,

Hey there, social media superstar! Let’s get real for a second. You’ve got about 4 seconds – yep, just 4s to make a killer first impression online. In the world of swipe-rights and scroll-throughs, your bio is your secret social media weapon, your first line of defense, and your digital handshake all rolled into one. Whether you’re a social media enthusiast, an influencer, a budding entrepreneur, or a job seeker hustling on LinkedIn, your bio speaks louder than a megaphone in a quiet room.

Think of your bio as the elevator pitch of your social media profile. You wouldn’t mumble through it, would you? So why let a boring bio do the talking for you? It’s time to ditch the generic and embrace the creative, the bold, and let’s be honest – the downright clever. Those days you just want a bio that not only stands out but shouts, “Hey, look at me!” in the most charming way possible. Oh, and don’t forget the importance of a clear call to action on your profiles. With the right, visible action guidance, you’re not just getting eyes on your content, you’re guiding potential customers down the path to conversion. A well-placed CTA can be the difference between a casual visitor and a loyal customer, driving them closer to your sales funnel with every click. Whether it’s ‘Shop Now,’
